Experience.  That’s our difference.

We guarantee that every OT assigned to a NDIS participant will have a minimum of three years’ experience (post their university studies).  Yes, we have some wonderful new graduate OTs but they are refining their skills working with our aged care clients.  Not because those clients are less important, but their needs are often less complex.  In her 25 years working in disability, our Chief OT, Tracie, has always maintained that those with a disability are the most deserving of allied health practitioners with the appropriate skills and experience to meet their needs. To achieve this, she personally reviews and triages all incoming referrals, ensuring that participant needs are met by matching them with the most suitably experienced OT.

Importantly, our collective experience allows us to assess for and prescribe the most complex of AT and home modifications (we were an inaugural member of the exclusive NDIA national provider panel, authorised to prescribe and design complex home modifications).  Furthermore, all of our OTs are FIM (Functional Independence Measure) accredited, allowing us to provide comprehensive, standardised Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA).

For those with highly complex needs, there may be extended wait times as we manage the capacity of our most senior clinicians. Please refer to the below table for our current capacity/availability:
