ABOUT ME:

From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Growing up with a younger brother who has both physical and intellectual disabilities, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that occupational therapy (OT) and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach can have on someone’s quality of life and family wellbeing. This experience inspired my passion for supporting children and adolescents to develop independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life, while ensuring therapy remains engaging and enjoyable. I also have a strong interest in mental health and recognise the vital role that exercise and activity play in supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing.

My lived experience helps me to connect with adolescents and young adults, resulting in them feeling more understood and knowing they aren’t alone. My work focuses on exploring opportunities to see how we can work together to develop skills and integrating interventions and practical strategies into a busy young person’s life alongside their family.

Outside of work, I like participating in endurance sports like triathlons and marathons.
