ABOUT ME:
I graduated from the University of South Australia in 2024 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). During my placements, I worked on a project to improve a mental health service for young adults, and gained experience in paediatrics and in in-patient and community older adults in Port Lincoln.
What I enjoy most about my role is building relationships with clients and working with them in their own environments. I love being part of their journey to achieving and maintaining their goals, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that Occupational Therapy has on their lives and well-being.
My current knowledge and areas of expertise are:
- Home safety assessments
- Falls risk assessment, prevention and education
- Home modifications
- Continence care management
- Pressure care management
- Assistive aids and equipment prescription
- ADL (activities of daily living) assessments
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, baking, and going on nature walks.
