ABOUT ME:
I studied a Bachelor of Psychology (with honours) and a Master of Occupational Therapy at Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia, graduating with my Master of Occupational Therapy in 2021.
I became an OT so I can:
- Provide holistic and evidence-based interventions to improve people’s independence and quality of life
- Advocate for people so they can receive the support they require to increase their independence and quality of life
I am passionate about working with Psychosocial and neurological disabilities
My placements enabled me to consolidate all the knowledge and skills I learnt in both of my degrees, while also gaining a wealth of new knowledge and skills to help support and advocate for individuals with psychosocial and neurological disabilities. These placements include:
- Adult Psychiatric Unit at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia
- Sub-acute Geriatric Ward at Northern Health Bundoora, Melbourne, Australia
- Forensic Psychiatric unit at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (Maximum Security Women’s Prison), Victoria, Australia
I value the connections that I am able to build with my clients. To be able to build a safe, trusting, and supportive environment for my clients to express themselves, share their lived experiences and enhance their functional capacity is invaluable – I learn just as much from my clients as they do from me.
I am also an animal lover and as of February 4, 2026, I have 4 frogs, 4 marble geckos, 3 cats, 2 scorpions and a blue tongued- lizard.
I enjoy reading, playing video games and building, painting, and collecting Warhammer miniatures.
