CURRENT ROLE:
I am a passionate and highly experienced Occupational Therapist, bringing over 18 years of international clinical and leadership experience across Australia, Singapore, and India. I currently support participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), with a strong focus on Functional Capacity Assessments, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments.
With extensive experience in assistive technology and home modifications, I am committed to recommending the right solutions to help clients maximise their independence and quality of life.
I am driven by a genuine passion for empowering individuals to move beyond disability and achieve their full potential. Supporting people to gain independence and confidence is what I love most about my work.
Outside of work, I enjoy long drives, trekking, swimming, and spending quality time with my daughter-especially singing and listening to music together. I may not be the best drummer, but I love drumming!
EXPERIENCE:
I graduated in 2007 and have a diverse clinical background, including neurological rehabilitation (stroke, Parkinson’s, TBI, dementia), orthopaedics, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and mental health. For over 12 years, I practiced in Singapore before continuing my career in Australia.
My training includes Bobath, Roods, PNF, Sensory Integration, and Cognitive Stimulation techniques. I have held leadership roles in program development, staff training, clinical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
I am proud to have received multiple awards, including the SingHealth Quality Service Award (Gold & Silver), Patient Champion Award, and COVID Hero Award, recognising my commitment to clinical excellence and patient care.
