Geographical areas covered (OT only): Metropolitan Adelaide and Adelaide Hills.  Other areas by negotiation.

CURRENT ROLE:

At Living to the Max, I provide Occupational Therapy services for My Aged Care clients, SA Housing Trust tenants, and NDIS participants to assist in improving their quality of life, safety, and independence. As a community-based Occupational Therapist, I visit clients in their homes and offer personalised recommendations based on their individual needs and goals. This includes home modifications (both minor and major), falls prevention strategies, equipment and assistive technology prescription, manual handling plans, and referrals to other health services or supports. I am also accredited to conduct Functional Independence Measure (FIM) Functional Capacity Assessments to support clients in achieving their goals.

What I enjoy most about my role is building strong relationships with clients and working with them in their own environments. I love being part of their journey to achieving and maintaining their goals, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that Occupational Therapy has on their lives and well-being.

In my free time I enjoy exercising, reading, cards and boardgames, and caring for my two pet birds.

EXPERIENCE:

I graduated from the University of South Australia in 2023 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). During my university placements, I worked on a culturally-specific aged care project and gained experience in in-patient mental health and sub-acute geriatric evaluation at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Since joining Living to the Max in 2024, I have supported veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and am continuing to work with older adults, and adults with physical disabilities.
