CURRENT ROLE:
At Living to the Max, I work with Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) clients and their families, providing occupational therapy services to improve their quality of life, safety, and independence. As a community-based Occupational Therapist, I visit clients in their homes and offer personalized recommendations based on their individual needs and goals. This includes home modifications, falls prevention, equipment prescription, pain management, and referrals to other health services or supports.
What I enjoy most about my role is building strong relationships with clients and working with them in their own environments. I love being part of their journey to achieving and maintaining their goals, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that Occupational Therapy has on their lives and well-being.
In my free time, I enjoy running, exercising, reading, drawing, baking, and caring for my two pet birds.
