Madison Holmes (Madi)

ABOUT ME:

I completed my studies at the University of South Australia in 2025.

I chose to become an OT because I am passionate about making a difference and helping people achieve what is meaningful for them.

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients with different life experiences and conditions. I am particularly passionate about working within the neurological rehabilitation space.

I completed a placement in an aged care setting providing cognitive stimulation therapy, a paediatric placement at Can Do 4 Kids, a PCP placement rurally in Whyalla working to develop culturally appropriate regulation strategies for Aboriginal children and a placement at Hampstead Rehabilitation in the Geriatric Evaluation Management Unit. My highlight was having the opportunity to work within an Aboriginal community and learn about Aboriginal culture.

What I value most about my work is building meaningful relationships with my clients and using client-centred practice at the heart of all my interactions.

Outside of work, you will find me going for runs, the gym, camping and spending time with friends and family.

A fun fact about me is that I have two golden retrievers who like to eat everything they see (on one occasion eating my brother’s passport)!
