Geographical areas covered (OT only): Metropolitan Adelaide, other areas by negotiation.
CURRENT ROLE:
As an Occupational Therapist, my role involves working with people of all abilities and conditions to help them participate in daily activities—whether it’s showering, dressing, cooking, or engaging in their community.
I love the variety of my work. One day, I might be assisting a client with home modifications, and the next, prescribing assistive equipment, supporting executive function, or addressing sensory needs.
At the initial assessment, I take the time to truly understand each person—their strengths, challenges, and interests—so I can provide meaningful occupational therapy recommendations tailored to their needs. For clients with limited communication or reduced cognitive capacity, I collaborate closely with their informal supports, formal supports, and broader support team to enhance or maintain their quality of life.
My holistic approach has allowed me to develop a broad range of occupational therapy experience, working with adults with:
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Intellectual disabilities
- Rare genetic conditions
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Vision impairments
- Mental health conditions
I am passionate about helping people improve their quality of life, knowing that even the smallest intervention can make a big difference.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog (Benji), my partner and his dog (Bristle), as well as my friends and family. I also enjoy running, cooking, hiking, and gardening. A fun fact about me? I love chocolate and experimenting with new recipes—but I also never shy away from a challenge!
I look forward to supporting you on your OT journey.
