NDIS Registered Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, everything we do, we believe in maximising your independence and quality of life. And, now more than ever, we believe you deserve specialist therapy services from highly skilled clinicians with extensive experience in adult disability and infection protocols.

And….we remain proud of the fact that we are not a franchise or part of a national organisation.  We are a South Australian family owned business who know their why?  Why we help other South Australian families? Why we actively participate in the community? Why we support our fellow South Australians who are ravaged by bushfires? Why we support causes that support our veterans? Why we quickly embrace technology to continue seeing clients in isolation? For us it’s simple…..we love helping you, your family, our community, our city, our state.  What more reason do you need?

Furthermore, with respect to COVID-19, our capability to deliver face-to-face or virtual (telehealth) services leaves us well placed to meet your needs, whatever your circumstance……so BOOK NOW!

Thank you for helping us continue our why? Because that makes us feel a whole lot better!

This is our commitment to you…….Managing Director and Senior Occupational Therapist, Tracie McInnes

  1. It’s about you, not us!  We are a full-service Occupational Therapy clinic, specialising in adult and adolescent disability, including those with complex needs……our Occupational Therapist will work with you to meet your goals.
  2. Our Occupational Therapists have extensive experience in adult and adolescent disability….we’re talking decades, not years!  Whether you need Assistive Technology, Home Modifications (minor and major) or Functional Capacity assessments to inform your accommodation needs, we have an Occupational Therapist to meet your needs.
  3. Transparency……you will know exactly how long things will take and how much it will cost……and then authorise it!
  4. Integrity………like you, we value our independence above all else!  For this reason we only provide occupational therapy.  That way, if we refer you to a speech therapist, physio, podiatrist or any other provider, you’ll know it’s in your best interests, not ours.
  5. Flexibility………our team of Occupational Therapists are mobile!  This means we will come to you, anywhere in the Adelaide metro area or Adelaide Hills.  We can also service other areas by negotiation.  And, of critical importance, we also have the capability to provide virtual intervention via our telehealth services.
  6. Free initial consultation…..the NDIS can be very confusing…..schedule a phone meeting with Amy, our Occupational Therapy Coordinator,  to clarify the process and get your questions answered.  You can contact Amy via phone, email or by completing our enquiry form.

If you would like to know a little bit more about us, we are an approved NDIS provider of occupational therapy, although we were servicing the Adelaide region long before the introduction of the NDIS……2004 in fact! We certainly look forward to making a valuable contribution to you as a participant of the scheme.

With 13 Occupational Therapists on staff, we can confidently say we are a full-service clinic covering a wide range of adult disabilities and related needs.  We are also lucky enough to have the state’s leading experts in those with very complex needs including customised assistive technology, wheelchairs and seating; postural assessments; standardised functional capacity assessments (FIM) and major home modifications.

In fact, we were on the inaugural and exclusive NDIA accredited national provider panel as an authorised Occupational Therapist to prescribe major home modifications for NDIS participants in Adelaide.

But what does this mean for you?  It means that you will be provided with an Occupational Therapist who has extensive experience working with people with similar disabilities.  You deserve nothing less.  Ultimately though, the choice of provider is yours and we encourage you to read this article to help you ask the right questions when selecting an Occupational Therapist or other allied heal professional.
